What is covered?

Our insurance covers eligible deliveries that are booked and paid through the RideApack platform.

Loss of Package

Coverage for total loss of thepackage during the deliveryprocess.

Damage Protection

Coverage for physical damageto the package during transitcaused by an accident.

Theft & Robbery

Coverage in case of theft,robbery, or burglary duringdelivery.

Accidental Events

Coverage for accidentalevents such as fire, flood,collision or natural calamities.

Insurance coverage is not applicable for items prohibited on the RideApack platform.

Coverage details

Below are the key details of the insurance coverage.

    Up to $500 per delivery

  • Applicable for

    All eligible packages booked through RideApack

  • Coverage period

    From pickup to successful delivery

  • Deductible / Excess

    $10 per claim

  • Claim request window

    Within 7 days of delivery

  • Claim settlement

    Within 5–7 business days after approval

What is not covered?

The following are not covered under our insurance.

  • Items prohibited on the platform
  • Damage due to improper packaging
  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage
  • Delayed delivery or delivery issues
  • Cash, documents, jewelry and valuables
  • Intentional acts, fraud or misrepresentation
